__________This week 2 of us (Brent and Angela Fielder) from the WinShape Camps Team have been in Brasilia working to get things done in the city before the team heads down tomorrow. Angela and I came down last Saturday night and landed in Brasilia on Sunday morning. We met up with some great friends Marney and Andre Krulis and started working to get things ready for camp.
On Sunday night we were able to go to Church in the city of P. North that we will be serving with the second week of the project. This was great as we were able to show the video from the 2009 project and talk with the church about what will be happening at their location in a couple of week. We also were able to talk face-to-face with the pastor of the church and some other leaders in the church to ensure that everything was worked out for this event.
The rest of the week has been a whirl-wind. We have been working to get many things printed like the banner for the stage and cards with the verse for the campers to take home. We have also been working to buy groceries for the team, get things to make props for our 'set,' visiting the lodging site at Aqua Viva and much more. It has been a fun week to be able to get things ready and spend time with some great friends. We are also very excited about Team 1 leaving tomorrow night to head this way and we will be eager to meet up with them on Saturday!
