Can you believe that it has been a year since our last International Project? Well if you did not know, we are headed back to Brazil this month! It is so great to see how God used the WinShape Camps International Project (WSCIP) of 2009 to impact children in Brazil, and also to impact the local church here in Brasilia.
This year we are teamed up with 36 people from the States that include WinShape Camps summer and full-time staff. We have split them into two teams and each team will head to Brazil to conduct 1-week day camps in the capital city of Brasilia. The first team will leave this Friday, March 5, 2010 and Team 2 will leave the following Friday, March 12, 2010.
The teams will be partnered with a local church in the Brasilia area to link arms with the Church to reach outside its walls and connect with its community. We will be working with Brazilian volunteers as well to train them on working with Children in a more intentional way.
Over the next two weeks we will be blogging a lot to let you all know what is going on as the teams are working camp, learning Brazilian culture, hanging out with incredible people, and so much more. We would love to ask for your prayers as we embark on this journey on our 2nd WinShape Camps International Project!
