Oi from Brazil! We are having so much fun here and can’t believe it is already Wednesday! The afternoon session of camp yesterday (Tuesday) was so much fun. The kids were crazy excited about everything we did and had a great time. The Brazilian volunteers are doing an incredible job of leading all the activities at camp. The kids love them and really listen to what they have to say. We are praying that the relationships they are building with these kids will continue in the days and years to come.
After camp last night we had a surprise stop at a local store where we got to try all different kinds of Brazilian ice cream and popsicles. The store just happened to be across the street from a playground, so of course we all had to climb the jungle gym, slide down the slide and play on the seesaw. Everyone knows camp counselors are just a bunch of big kids J
After ice cream we headed back down the bumpy dirt roads to Agua Viva where Brent presented Mark with his very own massive bowl full of pao de queijo. We think Mark has found his new favorite food. As I type this, he has currently eaten 28 pieces of pao de queijo! KT believes Mark may now be suffering from “pao de chitis”, a condition that affects all aspects of your life after consuming large amount of cheese bread.
Camp this morning went by so quickly, and the kids were more excited than ever. During the Roundup, there was a smile on every face, and kids were jumping and dancing everywhere! In Crafts, the kids got to color and design their own guitars. It was water day in Recreation, so they played Balloon Toss and Drip, Drip, Drop. In Man Land the meninos played tag games, and in Girl World the meninas made button bracelets.
Today is the day at camp when the gospel is presented to the kids. Please pray with us as we expect God to work in the lives of these kids and their families. Tomorrow night we will have a service where the parents are invited to come and see what we have been doing at camp. Pray that the families will be excited to come, that God would speak to them and that they would become involved in this church.
Ate lago!

TEAM 2,
It sounds like God is at work in Brazil! I love getting to see the sweet little Brazilian faces in all the pictures that you guys have posted! I have been praying for you guys and for God to use you guys while you are there, which I know He already is!
Now I have got to give my beloved buddy and ATL- Stephanie a very happy birthday! I know it was on Friday, but I was leading a DNOW group and missed getting to tell her :( But Stephanie, you were thought of and prayed for on your special day! I know God is using your big smile and big heart all the way down in Brazil! So excited to hear stories and catch up very soon! You are so RED HOT! haha. I love you sweet friend!
Juliana- a very happy birthday to you as well! I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday :) I know God is using you in big ways to encourage your team (my fellow individualization friend ;) ) and to also bring joy to those sweet kids at camp!
Kayla- you make me smile all the way back in good ole Georgia! I love that you love doing the cupid shuffle with the kids! That is so Kayla :) I know you are bringing smiles to your team as well as the children and people in Brazil!
Megan- I can totally hear your post in your "WHAT IS A CHICKASAW" voice! haha. I know God is using your sweet spirit and never-ending energy for His glory! Can't wait to see how God uses you this summer with C3! :)
Love to you all and I will be praying for you!

I don't know what just happened, but I just created a message for each of you individually and when I went to post... it didn't. Sad, sad day! If I had time I would try to recreate it. I'll see what I can do tomorrow! In the meantime, I am praying for all of you. Tchau e amor, Ruby
It's a fine, fine thing that Jesus speaks every language! Only on the other side of Glory will you know the eternal difference you've made this week. Anyone can count the seeds in an apple. Only God can count the apples in a seed.
Will, Daniel won't get a chance to read your message until tonight. More protection, more prosperity, more peace.
Love,
Dad
We are continuing to pray for you and especially tomorrow night as you share the Good News of how to have an eternal relationship with Jesus.
Mom and Dad
Will: Thank you for my birthday wish! Don't die.
Daniel

Oi, Chime Dois! It looks like you guys are having a blessed week as well! I know it's hard to believe that you only have one more day, but just let that be a reminder to not waste a single moment that you have with those meninos tomorrow.
My prayer for you guys is that God will renew your energy and give you all the strength to finish strong.
I love you guys, and I wish I could have stayed a second week to work with you. Vai com Deus!
-Nate

Greetings to team 2 from the Trejo Tribe on the island of Oahu! Missed Megan during the Pillbox hike (and other times, too). Praying for all of you! Hoping that you will finish strong! Enjoy the town on Friday!
Pray all is well. I hope everybody had a great day. Of course you all did- you are in Brazil, impacting the lives of children and doing camp again. Lives are being changed! Thanks for being willing to spend your spring break making a differences for the kingdom. May God continue to bless each of you. My prayer for each of you is that you all finish strong. Make your last day count! Have fun on Friday.

Team 2: It has been great to be able to read what you all have been doing during this week. Really wish I could be there with you all. Today is the last day of camp so go all out. This may be the day to change the life of a camper, volunteer, or even an entire family. Please tell Andrea I said hey.
Brent: Im impressed by your status update. I won't try to do that for you because it is 5:45am here and it's a lot of work :). Michael and I are great surviving our first 24 hours with just the two of us. This is feeding #3 for the night so it hasn't been too bad. Going to the hearing test and haircut today, so that's a full day. Cards you ordered came in the mail...only the envelopes were really damaged from rain. Might try to get those out this week if possible. Things you could bring back: spices and a bead bracelet with flag on it (the ones from the tower) for , might be good to return the favor to the Wilbanks for the gifts they brought us. I can't think of anything I need.
Have a great rest of the time there. Brent let me know what the pick up plans are Sunday, if you are waiting on team when you get back or if I need to come get you. love you so much.
Kayla - I hope you have had an amazing week and I hope you enjoy your last day of camp! I miss you and can't wait to see you on Sunday and hear all about this awesome experience.
Zack
Oi Team 2! Glad to see that your internet issues have ended. I looked Monday and saw only one post... now there's 75! (Marney taught me the brazilian art of exaggeration. :) )
Kevin says that he feels like he's back in Brazil. I had my wisdom teeth out today and all I can do it talk in some form that he doesn't understand and point at things. Haha.
I was really excited to read through all the posts and to see what you all have been doing. I know that today will be an awesome day since you'll get a chance to meet with the parents and love on the kids one last time. Cherish those moments!
Keenan, Mark will be in the office next week. Surprise!!
Veal, the office is far too quiet... even with me there. I know right? Can't wait for you to get back so we can swap stories!
Birth, where did you get food off the street? John did that with a few of us last week, but I'm pretty sure it was dog or something.
Norma, I think that you should share the story of KT being bitten during our Brazil recap. I'm thinking center stage... 325 staffers... sound good?
Travel buddy, hope you had a great birthday in Brazil! Don't let them lose you on the way back.
Bean!! Praying for you as camp comes to an end. I'm so proud of you and can't wait to see you when you get back.
Trammell, I'm still praying. :) Even if I am going on week 3... ;)
Well I hope that you all enjoy tonight! Maybe God bless you all for the work you've done to impact the lives of those campers!
Yay for loving kids and Brazilian ice cream popsicles! We are still praying for you all here in the ATL. I'm praying for your time with the families tonight in particular. Can't wait to hear stories in real life too! Enjoy serving and laughing together. Soak up your moments and chose to make the most of them all! Has Fufa been around? Hope so!
Kayla~ am so happy for you that you are having a wonderful trip, I will continue praying for you all to have a safe trip back home. Enjoy every minute of it and We love you! Titi Maria, Tio Tom , Ylda, Ellie and Addie
Oi Team 2!! I've finally been able to read all of your posts! It was amazing to me at how fast camp goes by! Be like a sponge.Soak it all in! :)
And to anyone of you who brought an extra suitcase- be sure to pack "Marney's sky" when you leave...ours is looking kinda drab. fail.
Marney- Thanks so much for being the best doctor ever. My cut is almost completely healed but I still have a pretty sweet bruise. Team 2, no matter how confident you are....don't try and show off your gymnastic skills...it's just not worth it. If you don't know what happened, I'm sure marney could fill you in. :)
Born- what did you eat? A cat?
Captivating Brook- I can't help but smile everytime I see the picture of Jeff Slaughter and you in our cube. "I'm working on my serve..."
Obediant Echo- You have a surprise waiting for you in your cube. :) haha
Resonating Stallion- Please tell me you had prunes on your birthday cake!
Harmonious Legacy- I hope you made Jr. camp proud on wild and wacky wednesday. Remember... GO BIG!
I'm praying for tonight and the HUGE things the Lord has in store for the campers, their parents, and YOU!
love you all,
Alison
